WRONG! The way to fix the area chat problem was to re-institute the diplomacy skill. Not eliminate area chat all together. Thereby people would of had a choice. If "crying and drama" so adversely effects your game play experience then you could go about your way ignorant of the meanies that populate this game.

for a small game this the community plays an important role. Taking away matters to tighten the player base is a bad thing imho. Are we supposed to use FLS's IRC channel to communicate with each other for arranged fights, local chat simply doesn’t have the range.

Stop trying to come up with legit reasons for what really just is a bunch of fat people and greasy teenagers with no real life achivements to get some attention.

Just make a thread telling everyone who wants to pvp to gather at X port and use local chat, its not that hard. And you can all talk smack and measure epeens, i suggest Sabanqui.

If every area chat hater turned it off..we wouldnt be in this mess.... SO All FLS has to do now is change it up a lil. Make a new channel called Xteamers hotline or something to that....and buy with TA. And we all can have the same function with a different name that FLS made a buck off of us on... Count me in I got my BSN..

Or you keep area chat in the game and you tell players who are so adverse to area chat to... click and remove it from the list of channels they can see.

You know if you had to TURN it On (Area)...instead of TURN it OFF(area).. It wouldnt be hated so much... Look at the chat filter.... Don't hear of ppl QQin about bad words.. Cuz the ******* leave it on while us who can handel it turn it off....So what makes area chat and chat filter so different, FLS?
