ya, i was turning thru.....but a ship should not be able to grapple like that...i was going 5 knots when he boarded.

The math works, but the situations sucks.

It's a game feature that is "working as intended".

The game rules allow for a grapple when two ships are 100 yds apart, have passed each other, and each is traveling at 65mph in opposite directions.

Once boarding occurs the player with the highest ping wins.

Just make sure that your sail designs meet FLS realism criteria.
