Sorry mate. You'll have to count me out of this one... I logged into Testbed and tried this garbage out. Then, tried logging back into the live servers tonight... Just can't do it. I have absolutely no motivation to bother with this game unless they decide to throw 2.11 out the window. If that happens, I'll be back. If not, I'm gone for good.

I am not a PvPer, I normally don't post on the forums except a few times when Econ was bugged at last patch for the sake of the Econ. I don't care too much about PvP personally but I do know this....those PvPers are often times very good in PB's and their help is needed at a port flip too. Those repair patches will also effect Port Battle. In the Caribbean PvP (as we call it) and ganking was the heart and soul of these waters and like it or not is a part of the Role Play true to form. It was not a pretty or safe waters to sail in in the age of piracy even if there was a naval presence. Wars in Europe effected how things were run in the Caribbean as well, America didn't fare any better either. So why am I "whinning" because even reviewers of this game say that the best part of this game is the ship com, and the RvR and PvP. So when people review this for their websites as they review other MMO's( that is the word of mouth advertising that FLS is probably looking for) and FLS goes and nerfs it and changes it so drastically to make the game more those people that read the reviews will not be impressed. Of course they will never have experienced how it once was.. Now they are changing the best aspect of this game and since I have an FT with more ship hold then most classes on this game the repairs will be awesome for even my levi LOL. I know a real simple game where you can get lots of money, treasure hunt and take on Baron Raymondo and save the governor's daughter, maybe even learn to dance. I speak for the members of my family as well that is four of us I just tend to be posting online. LOike I said I am not a veteran by any stretch of the immagination. I got sunk in ganks last year so much I was determined to stick it our as PB's are my main desire to playing this game, PvP just comes with it. The only thing is that IF I stay and all the old vets are gone because some people can't hack the game and drove them away with their QQing about how unfair it is for lowbies that now they are making changes that MANY not just PvPers do not like. And after a year I have learned the FLS isn't always perfect. Stop trying to fix what's broken with stop gap measures and listening to those people that haven't been around at least a year. Listen to the complaints of those who have been around. FIX AVCOM, leave the ships alone, bring back the 1st and 2nd rates, provide better tutorials those are things I would fix.
And as a business owner the voices of those that can not pay are not heard as often as those that can pay. Just sayin.

PS....I am posting a lot because this means a lot to me as far as this game goes and i really don't want to have to try to find a game cause as it stands now this game really is awesome.

just fyi,
if u like the econ in this game, u should reallly try EVE, its has a similar econ,
just way more complex, and rewarding, and u can skip the PvP there aswell if u like...
