Default no more leveling to 50

I would like to suggest changing the leveling by starting everyone at level 50.
Make it so everyone has to level there reputation up instead of leveling to 50.
You could make it to use your reputation to governor a port and for items in game.
The better your reputation for your nation the better the rewards could be.

It would be a great idea; ships and outfittings could then be balanced across all size-ranges, instead of having the combination with level-restrictions, and maybe the roles/archetypes of the smaller vessels could be reworked into something useful...

And maybe we could give everyone 2 mill dblns so they could buy a ship and fittings to fleet and do missions with to raise your rep. Then the sea would be full of fools QQing about how they got sunk cause they dont know how to use their skills due to no leveling.

No wonder this game is going down hill. The Lazy generation moved in with F2P. Gimme Gimme Gimme.

The problem isn't levelling but rather the lack of help, guides, tutorials for new players.

I don't think many people learn much from leveling, I know I didn't I've been here since beta, and leveled six level 50's. How much do you learn from doing pve in a pvp game from your skills? Besides most new players just look for fleet grinding groups, because it's alot faster then going to port to port.

You don't have to give anyone any money, they can do what everyone else does now to get money. How much cash do you make from leveling 1 to two mill wich isn't much, when players could do mission for rep that would give them cash and rep.

Don't new players qq now about losing ships because they don't know there skills.

Leveling is a problem in this game, it's very boring doing the same style of missions, over and over. Going from port to port into the wind, not many new players have paitents to do this. The games all about pvp, new players want to pvp not pve! If you put players in a legit fallback ship and tell them to go pvp in a ship that they can start out in and can't lose to learn there skills and get reputation to go to port battles and flip ports then they will. We as old school players could get extra reputation for killing a old player but not as much for killing a new player then it could work.

I have leveled eight characters to fifty and frankly I would rather cut off my ring ringer then level another. If I ever have to run from one side of town to the other just to be told that I need to return from whence I came, it will be too soon. I do believe that it is important, but not to the extent that it is currently foisted upon players to complete. Double the points and money given for the completion of each mission and be done with it. (Fleeting points should remain at the same level as fleeting teaches very little and gives no special clickies.)
