We’ve mentioned a few times that leaderboards are in the works, and now they’re at a stage where we can let them out into the wild a bit to see if they can fend for themselves.

Leaderboards are a way for you to view the top ranked characters based on various statistics that we record. These include stats for PvP (ad-hoc and Conquest), PvE, Economy, Skirmish and Duels, and allow you to see how you score in both positive stats (e.g. wins) and negative stats (e.g. losses).

You can also compare any characters (even across servers) to see how you size up against your friends (or enemies).

As well as viewing the leaderboards, you also have the ability to view a list of all the characters on your account and view their stats, even if they’re not in the top 50.

As the title of this article suggests, this is a preview. That means that the pages aren’t finished, and you’re likely to encounter bugs (possibly major ones) and performance issues. That’s expected, and we’re actively working to find those issues and fix them, however if there’s anything you particularly want to bring to our attention then please use the ‘discuss’ link below.

The statistics shown on the leaderboards date back to early March 2009. When we’re sure we’ve worked out the last few bugs in leaderboards, we will reset the statistics before we take the system live.
