Note: This event is now over.
We would like to extend the opportunity for you to join us on Testbed this coming Saturday (1/15/11) at 9pm GMT/4pm EST/1pm PST for a test event.
In this event we will be testing our latest fix for the bug that causes Lieutenant Commission NPCs to appear in PvP combat. For this test we will be running skirmishes, port battles and engaging in open sea battle instances while asking players to attempt to use Lt. Commissions that we will provide.
GMs will be on-hand to help you get set up. You’ll be able to find them on the docks in Havana between 9pm GMT/4pm EST/1pm PST and 9pm GMT/4pm EST/1pm PST. GMs will provide you with the necessary items and ships for the test (including commissioned allies) as well as a level boost if you need one.At approximately 9:30pm GMT/4:30pm EST/1:30pm PST GMs will start skirmishes. We will continue skirmishing until 10pmGMT/5pm EST/2pm PST.
We will then start setting up port battles for the second phase of our testing. Players may be asked to switch factions depending on the number of players present for balancing purposes. If you need to create a new character for this, GMs will be on-hand to help you set one up.
We will start the first port battles as close to 10pm GMT/5pm EST/2pm PST as possible. If time allows, we will run two port battles for each group.
After the conclusion of the port battle phase of testing, we will engage in open sea combat. GMs will provide themselves as additional targets of opportunity on the open sea. The open sea battle testing will continue for approximately one hour from the conclusion of the last port battle.
We will give a rewards of 5 Citations of Conquest to any player who can successfully get a commissioned ally to activate during any instance PvP over the course of this event. Our GMs will also be carrying cargo of value for any players able to successfully defeat them in the open sea portion of our tests.
If you have any questions regarding the test event, please feel free to post them and I will attempt to answer them as quickly as possible and we hope to see as many of you as possible this weekend.
