Talk to Cyrille DeverreTo begin the mission, speak with Cyrille Deverre. If you just completed Sword Fishing, you should be standing right in front of Cyrille Deverre. Otherwise, sail to Irish Point and enter the home of Cyrille Deverre. Cyrille Deverre will be in the Library on the second floor. Deverre has another task for you:  I have the most beautiful ship in the world, the finest blade ever seen, but still I am not satisfied. More. . . including the most beautiful woman in the Caribbean. Her name is Lilya Simon, and she is married to a pathetic worm of a man who does not appreciate her inner and outer magnificence. She is Aphrodite made flesh, a vision, and I must free her from her cruel and boorish husband. The fool keeps her locked away in a small tower not far from town. You must smash through his guard ships and rescue dear Lilya from her wretched master. Do you not agree such a creature deserves the glory of being by my side? —Cyrille Deverre The Fort
 Once your ship arrives in Ile a Vache (near Irish Point) you will notice several enemy ships closing in on you. Past the enemy ships is a French Fortress. Get close to the Fortress and click on it to enter. Once you have entered the fortress, make your way slowly to the opposite end, where you will find and entrance to Private Quarters. On the other side of the door you will find just the person you were looking for: Lilya Simon. Lilya does not look happy to see you. Talk to her: Lilya Simon: "If you have come to rob us, do not bother. I have little of value." You: "I'm not here to rob you, Madame Simon. I came to rescue you from your ogre of a husband." Lilya Simon: "Oh my God! You've killed my HUSBAND?" You: "No! I didn't. . . well, I don't think I killed your husband. To be honest, I'd have to sift through the bodies. . . I kill a lot of people" Lilya Simon: "Please, I'll do whatever you say. Just stop killing people!" Now Lilya has agreed to follow you. Exit the private quarters the way you came in, and make your way back to your ship at the opposite end of the fortress. Be careful though, as there may be a few opponents waiting for you. Once you are in your ship, proceed to the escape point marked on your map. Any ships that you did not destroy before entering the fort will still be waiting for you. Collect RewardOnce you have reached the escape point, you are free to leave the mission. Return to Cyrille Deverre's home and talk to Cyrille Deverre to collect your reward. He is again located in the Library on the second floor. Cyrille Deverre: "Where is she? Where is dear Lilya?" You: "She's getting a little help disembarking—she was in that tower for some time and she is still a bit weak. But I assure you she is unscathed, and as beautiful as ever." Cyrille Deverre: "I hope you also taught that fool Simon a lesson in the finer things in life—such as swordplay. Very well done, Captain. I have rarely seen someone who so readily understands the principles by which I live. . . by which someday, we all shall live. See to your ship, my friend, and when you are prepared, return to me. I suspect I will need your assistance again soon." You will be rewarded with Gold 1490 doubloons and at least Experience 560 points. Related Missions |
