Talk to Carlos Aledo

To accept the mission, talk to Carlos Aledo. If you just completed From the Mouths of the Hungry, you should be standing right in front of Carlos Aledo. Otherwise, sail to Puerta de Plata and enter the Church. Inside you will find Aledo. Father Aledo tells you that Puerta de Plata is in danger:

Have you heard the news, Captain [your name]? Something terrible has happened. No time to explain. Go see Magistrate Machado right away. Puerta de Plata is in terrible danger, and he'll be needing your help.

Leave the Church and head straight to the Magistrate's Office to talk to Manuel Machado.

Manuel Machado: "Captain, I see Father Aledo relayed my message. These Disciples of Naumann seem to be a cause of never-ending trouble for this town."

You: "What are they up to now?"

Manuel Machado: "Who do these Disciples of Naumann think they are? First they defraud the people of Puerta de Plata by masquerading as beggars, now they've gone and blockaded the harbor, robbing every ship coming or leaving.

I will not stand for this! Captain [your name], I will pay you handsomely if you help me break this blockade. Sink them all, every last one. Let this be a lesson to anyone who thinks they can steal from the people of Puerta de Plata."

To begin the mission, talk to the Coxswain and click on For the Love of Greed.

Break the Blockade

Your ship will arrive in front of the blockade (near Puerta de Plata). Your objective is to sink enemy ship with the help of your allies.

Once you have defeated every enemy ship, leave the mission.

Collect Your Rewards

Return to the Magistrate's Office and speak with Manuel Machado to collect your rewards.

Manuel Machado: "Captain [your name], I've been biting my nails, waiting to hear back from you. Have you broken the blockade?"

You: "I sank every last one of them, just as you asked."

Manuel Machado: "Nice work Captain. Perhaps they will think twice before messing with Puerta de Plata again."

You will be rewarded with Gold 1610 doubloons and at least Experience 720 points.
