Talk to Elisabeth Clifton

To begin the mission, talk to Elisabeth Clifton. If you just completed Making Them Pay, you should be standing right in front of Elisabeth Clifton. Otherwise, sail to La Isabela and enter The Plank and Scupper (Tavern). Inside, head to the back room on the second floor and talk to Elisabeth Clifton.

Elisabeth Clifton still wants to teach the Hijos Verdaderos de la Libertad a lesson:

We've got Hijos Verdaderos de la Libertad on the run now, Captain. A group of them has holed up in an old fort. See how they fear us? They think they have escaped but all they have done is trap themselves. Let's assault their fort together, Captain, and finish it!

Leave the Tavern. To begin the mission, speak to the Coxswain and click on Her Blood is Boiling.

Enter the Fort

In Her Blood is Boiling, defeat the three commanders and then you may face their leader. The Commanders are marked with a red circle . The Leader is marked with a green square .

Defeat the three commanders and then you may face their leader.

Once your character arrives along the Coastline (near La Isabela) you will see be charged with objectives: (1) luring out the fort's commanders and (2) defeating their leader.

With the help of Elisabeth Clifton, make your way slowly through the fort. You will be much more successful if you draw your opponents to you by firing on them from afar.

Your best tactic is to attack as few of the grunts as possible and defeat the three Catalan Capitán Commanders. Two of the Commanders are located on the second level and one is located in the plaza on the first level.

After you defeat the Fort's Commanders, you are able to go after the Fort's Leader. The Leader is dressed similar to the Commanders. You will find him on the second level, standing where one of his Commanders once stood.

Return to the Tavern

Once you have defeated the leader, you are free to leave the mission. Return to The Plank and Scupper (Tavern) in La Isabela and talk to Elisabeth Clifton (who will still be in the room upstairs).

Elisabeth Clifton: "That was glorious, Captain. We bathed in their blood!"

You: "I did what needed to be done and nothing more. I hope we are finished with this now."

Elisabeth Clifton: "You should tell the town boss what we've accomplished here, Captain. He'll want to know."

Collect Your Rewards

To collect your reward, talk to Børge Aumaître in the Town Boss' office.

Børge Aumaître: "Ah, Captain, good to see you. Did you take up arms with Captain Clifton?"

You: "On land and sea. We attacked their shipping and then assaulted one of their forts. I don't think Hijos Verdaderos de la Libertad will be bothering La Isabela again. You may want to keep an eye on Captain Clifton though. The more of them we killed the angrier she got. I can't explain it."

Børge Aumaître: "I told you she was a hellion, Captain."

You will be rewarded with Gold 1580 doubloons, and at least Experience 680 points.
